I stepped into the First Five Mens group not knowing what expect and questioning whether I needed to be there or not. Throughout the course I was given amazing tokens each session from both Sam, the host, and the great group of men that I met with. Big and small reminders to look inward at myself and my routines and ask the questions “is this decision based on my needs or someone else’s”, “why can’t I have a voice in this setting”, “how can I change my routine to be more successful”. I walked out of this group with The ABC’s of me and I am better for it. I know my worth as a husband, father, businessman, friend and beyond. A lot of these parts of me, I played a sideline role in, allowing other peoples feelings and needs to hold more weight than my own. Through the First Five Process I am more able to walk through this game of life confidently, humble and equipped to seize opportunity. I am thankful and proud to have gone through this process and still practice the first five daily.
